Jute is a tall plant that can be used to make rope. In real life, the jute plant grows in tropical or subtropical climates. In Terrafirmacraft, they require a minimum temperature of 5℃ to survive, and 10℃ to grow. It grows the same way as crops do, and yields jute and jute seeds when harvested.

The harvested jute can be soaked in a barrel of water to produce jute fiber. A full barrel can process up to 14 jute.
The resulting jute fiber can be crafted into rope. Five jute fibers are required for one rope. The rope can then be used as leashes for animals, the same way leads work in vanilla Minecraft.
