Using []
Magnetite can be smelted in a bloomery to produce a raw iron bloom, which is used to create wrought iron. Magnetite can be smelted in a blast furnace to produce liquid pig iron, which is used to create steel. Magnetite cannot be smelted in a fire pit, pit kiln, or crucible.
